Dinner - Bojangles |
In
1935 Bojangles started as a guesthouse offering
accommodation and simple but warm hospitality.
Over the years the site housed the Teapot Inn
(1956 - 1967) and the Centre Restaurant (1967
- 1978). It was after this that the Central
Australian icon, Bojangles, began. It inherited
its name from Mr Bojangles - the man who dances.
|
|
The
venue has been decorated with an historical
theme. A life-size replica of Ned Kelly guards
the front bat wing Saloon doors. Eighteenth
century memorabilia such as guns, motorbikes,
cars, pioneering artifacts and photos line the
walls. Bojangles is an unique outback saloon
which provides true Territory Tucker such as
Camel, Crocodile, Kangaroo, Emu and Barramundi.
