Indigenous
Tourism Forum
Day
One features the Indigenous Tourism Forum focussing
on applied case study examples of business development;
successful employment and training initiatives;
youth, culture and heritage development; and business
investment for growth. This practical and applied
forum is essential for operators, policy makers,
destination developers and marketers.
Day
1 - Monday 7 November
ASEAN and
OCEANIA Tourism Forum
The ASEAN
and OCEANIA Tourism Forum will feature parallel
to the Indigenous Tourism Forum focussing on Ecotourism
and Sustainable tourism in ASEAN countries and
Oceania. This
forum will feature national and international
case studies addressing topics such as: importance
of sustainable development; importance of Indigenous/Cultural
tourism; quality control/certification and more.

2 - Tuesday
8 November
Plenary Program
Day Two of the Conference features a Plenary
Program with leading
speakers from all over the globe
addressing new enterprise and opportunities in
relation to climate change, strategic links with
the Asia-Pacific, Marketing, Sustainable Tourism,
Ecotourism and Indigenous Tourism amongst others.
Throughout
the Plenary Program delegates are encouraged to
take part in interactive discussions and
debate through the Plenary Workshops
which enable delegates to gain practical insights
and develop tangible benefits contributing to
a more sustainable future for the industry.

Theme Streams
Day Three features a number of different Theme
Streams with each Stream being designed around
a specific topic. The Theme Streams are workshops
designed for optimal delegate interaction and
discussion providing delegates with the latest
practical information and best practice case studies.
