The Pullman Reef Hotel is the most prestigious accommodation and conference venue in Cairns, located in the heart of the city and overlooking the majestic Trinity Inlet and esplanade boardwalk.

The hotel is home to award winning restaurant 'Tamarind' and the Cairns Wildlife Dome which offers a tropical zoo experience in the heart of the city.

In 2011 the Pullman Reef Hotel celebrated not one, but two award wins at the 2011 Tropical North Queensland (TNQ) Tourism Awards. The hotel accepted two prestigious awards in the Luxury Accommodation and Meetings & Business Tourism categories.

Getting to the Venue

Taxi

The taxi journey between the venue and the airport is just 10 minutes. Book a Cairns taxi online here or phone 131 008.

Car Hire

The following car hire companies operate from Cairns airport and the city centre.

Driving

From the airport: turn left onto the Captain Cook Highway, which continues as Sheridan Street through the city. When you reach Spence Street, turn left. Then take the third right into Abbott Street. Continue to the end of Abbott Street and turn left into Wharf Street where you will find the entrance to the conference venue..

From the south: along the Bruce Highway, turn right into Draper Street, then left into Kenny Street, which joins Wharf Street where you will find the conference venue.

Parking

Valet parking is available at a charge of $10 per day for in house guests. Conference delegates may self park for $6 per day.

Buses

A public transportation network is operated throughout the city by Sunbus . A transit mall is located in the CBD, through which all services operate. Services include most parts of the city, from Palm Cove in the north, to Gordonvale in the south. Bus services operated by 'Trans North' run to Kuranda and to the Atherton Tableland. A smaller minibus service, Jon's Kuranda Bus runs between Cairns and Kuranda.
