By
'Going Green' our ultimate aim is to make
our actions sustainable. This applies to all facets
of the conference however in particular to the areas
of:

Many
of these areas are interlinked and provide opportunities
to make environmental savings.

gas emissions footprint will be offset.
You
are encouraged to offset your carbon emissions
for the entire conference, however part thereof
is a great start too. There are many organisations
in Australia where you can offset your emissions,
a useful tool is the online
carbon calulator developed by
the Sustainable Tourism Cooperative Research Centre.
Besides
calculating your carbon emissions for the conference
the tool provides a number of tips on how to
further reduce your impact
and provides links to a list of carbon offset
providers.
You
are able to offset your travel carbon footprint
too, some options are:

your flight upon making an online booking
