The
opening day of Global Eco 2011 will conclude with
a Cocktail Reception on board ex-naval destroyer
HMAS Vampire at the Australian National Maritime
Museum. The HMAS Vampire is Australia’s largest
museum vessel and is the last of the country’s
big gun ships. HMAS Vampire served in the Royal
Australian Navy from 1959 to 1986.
Seize the potential and make the most of attending
this excellent and unique networking function. Mingle
with delegates and speakers alike and make sure
to have a good look around at HMAS Vampire.

Cocktail Reception
The Armoury, Gap Bluff
18:30 – 21:00
The Official Welcome Cocktail Reception is hosted
by NSW NPWS and will be held at The Armoury at Gap
Bluff Centre. Following Ecotourism Australia's AGM
harbour transfers will be provided from Taronga
Zoo to Gap Bluff (included in the networking ticket).
The
Gap Bluff Centre is in Watsons Bay and is part of
Sydney Harbour National Park, the centre was formerly
part of the South Head School of Artillery. The
heritage listed Armoury is surrounded by native
gardens and offers a stunning view over Sydney.
